All You Need

5 ozOatly Barista Editionor Oatly Barista Edition Coconut Flavour
1,4 ozcold brewed matcha
Fig leaf syrup
  • 4 fig leaves
  • 150 g white sugar
  • 250 g boiling water
Ice
Cold brewed matcha (ingredients per portion):

2-3 gmatcha powder
5-10 gagave syrup (optional)to taste
Salt(small pinch)
30 gcold water

Tools

  • Glass
  • Container
  • Saucepan and stovetop
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Whisk + bowl
    • or Blender

To-Do List

For the cold brewed matcha (1 portion):

  1. Sieve the matcha into a bowl or cocktail shaker​
  2. Add all other ingredients​
  3. Whisk or shake vigorously for 30 sec​

For the cold brewed matcha (multiple portions):

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender
  2. Blend on low speed for approx 20–30 sec until no matcha lumps are left
  3. Chill immediately

For the fig leaf syrup:

  1. Wash the fig leaves and put them into a container
  2. Add sugar and water to a pan
  3. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar
  4. Pour the hot sugar syrup over the fig leaves
  5. Leave to cool then refrigerate for at least 4 hours
  6. Remove leaves and store refrigerated

For the drink:

  1. Fill a glass with ice
  2. Add 3/4 oz fig leaf syrup to a glass
  3. Top with Oatly Barista Edition
  4. Finish with cold brewed matcha
