All You Need

| 150 ml | Oatly Barista Edition |
| 1 g | salt |
| 2 g | lactic acid powderor 33 g lemon juice |
| 50 g | boiling water |
| 15 g | hojicha |
| 60 g | maple syrup |
| 3 g | orange bitters |
| 250 g | non-alcoholic spiced spirit(or rye whiskey) |
Garnish: orange twist
Tools
- Glass
- Electric mini whisk
- Large vessel
- Paper coffee filters
- Peeler(for orange zest)
To-Do List
- Add salt, acid, hojicha and boiling water to a vessel and mix with an electric mini whisk until dissolved
- Add maple syrup, bitters, rye and chilled Oatly Barista Edition (this should curdle)
- Pass curdled mix through paper coffee filter until the mix is clear (you will have to pass the first cloudy bit through a second time)
- Bottle the clear mixture and store in fridge
- To serve, pour 125 ml over clear ice and garnish with orange twist
Step 3 is important: if you skip this, the clarified mix will become hazy as soon as it is poured over the ice
